MOORPARK : Sidewalk Art Fair to Be Held Today
Moorpark today is holding the Old Town Festival of the Arts, the city’s first sidewalk art fair.
From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., about 25 artists will line High Street downtown, selling artworks ranging from photographs to pottery. Quilting, yarn spinning, wood carving and basket weaving will be demonstrated, festival organizer Joy Cummings said.
In addition, the festival will feature live entertainment, including performances by a ‘60s band, a children’s choral group and clowns.
