All-American Todd Day of Arkansas has had a month added to his suspension from playing basketball next season, Day’s stepfather said.

But Ted Anderson said Day denied allegations of academic improprieties and might appeal the ruling of the All University Judiciary Board.

Day, a senior this fall, is ineligible to play for the Razorbacks through November for his involvement in a Feb. 27 incident with a 34-year-old woman at the school’s athletic dorm.

Day appeared before the judicial board last week after being accused, along with several other students, of cheating on a biology lab quiz, Anderson said.

“He denies it and has some misgivings about the way it was all handled,” Anderson said.
