MOORPARK : 1,900 Homes Lose Power for an Hour
About 1,900 homes in Moorpark lost power for nearly an hour Wednesday night, utility officials said.
The outage, caused by an underground equipment failure at the Woodglen Drive substation, began at 6:35 p.m. and affected customers in the Peach Hill subdivision and downtown, Southern California Edison officials said.
An additional 50 residences were to have power restored by midnight, officials said.
