They’re Still Catching Bass in Castaic Lake
Catfish have become the chief feeders at most Southland reservoirs, but one well-known largemouth bass fishery refuses to make the seasonal transformation.
Castaic Lake, a producer of trophy bass each spring, continues to do well into the summer.
Jeff Lerma of Castaic caught an 11-pound 8-ounce largemouth and Perry Gardan of Reseda took an eight-pounder.
