Argonaut Group Inc.: The Los Angeles-based company’s second-quarter net income fell 42% to $12.5 million as revenue slipped 10% to $125.9 million. The company, whose subsidiaries sell, underwrite and service workers’ compensation and other lines of property/casualty insurance, cited among other reasons lower premium revenue and additions to workers’ compensation loss reserves.
