Lawsuits N’ More Lawsuits: The owners and promoters of the new Riverport Amphitheatre near St. Louis where a riot broke out last week during a Guns N’ Roses concert is suing the rock band, alleging their actions led to damage to the facility. The suit filed Wednesday in St. Louis County Circuit Court individually names the band’s lead singer, Axl Rose, as well as the band. The lawsuit says the band violated its contract to refrain from conduct that would be “provocative and dangerous to members of the audience.” More than 60 people were injured during the melee--two of them have sued the amphitheater’s owners.
