Valley of Mexico Holds 25% of the Population

MEXICO CITY — The Valley of Mexico, home to Mexico City, holds one out of every four Mexicans on land that is only a fraction of the total country, said the director of Population and Migratory Services.
Twenty-five percent of the country’s population of roughly 85 million people lives the Valley of Mexico, an area equal to 0.3 of the country’s land mass.
