Ram Boosters Pledge $25,000 to Hall of Fame
ANAHEIM — The Rams Booster Club has pledged $25,000 toward the construction of an Orange County Hall of Fame museum building, the Hall announced Friday.
It was the first major donation in a $500,000 fund-raising campaign. The 7,500 square-foot building, which will be part of an office complex next to Anaheim Stadium, is scheduled to be completed in August, 1992.
The museum will feature the history of sports in Orange County and the more than 50 current Hall inductees.
Those who want to make a donation--a $450 contribution is required for “Founders” status--should call the Orange County Hall of Fame at (714) 935-0199.
