SPIKE LEE
As a human being, former Spike Lee supporter and white woman married to a black man, I am offended by Lee’s idea that most of us enter an interracial relationship attracted by “sexual myths” (“Spiked” by Hilary de Vries, June 2). I was drawn by my husband’s kindness and sense of humor, not the idea that he’d be a “sexual superman.”
Racism continues, Spike, because people like you are promoting it and making money from it.
