‘Pedagogical Jealousy’
Hollywood High School Principal Karleen Marienthal’s letter (July 7) attacking Hamilton High School Principal Jim Berk is a prismatic gem.
She grasps for and catches all aspects of pedagogical small-mindedness and jealousy. Principal Berk is scholastically adventurous and successful, whereas poor Ms. Marienthal caricaturizes herself, unintendedly and through a blurred looking-glass. Poor soul.
