A former member of the city Economic Development Commission has been reinstated to that panel by the City Council.

Marianne Yee had submitted her resignation from the committee to City Hall last month, saying her family was moving outside the city.

But at the council meeting on Monday, City Manager Fred Sorsabal said the house sale had been canceled. The council voted unanimously to reinstate Yee, a former planning commissioner.
