FAIR SKIES: Nearly 600,000 people are expected to visit the Orange County Fair (B1), which runs today through July 28. . . . Weather is a wild card, but the final weekend days typically draw the biggest crowds to the Costa Mesa fairgrounds. It won’t hurt that the Angels will be out of town, fair spokesman Don Escalante says: “That’s one less family entertainment thing for us to compete with.” . . . The fair’s theme is “How Sweet It Is,” a salute to the bee and honey industry.
