Dillard Bids for Florida Stores: Dillard Department Stores Inc. has joined the bidding for some Florida department stores put on the block by Federated Department stores and Allied Stores Corp. The $74.5-million offer for 12 Jordan Marsh stores came late Tuesday, the deadline for submitting bids, Federated and Allied said. They said the offer follows others received from Mervyn’s, J. C. Penney Co. and Montgomery Ward & Co. U.S. Bankruptcy Judge J. Vincent Aug Jr. has scheduled a hearing Tuesday on whether to approve the bids. Federated and Allied are under Aug’s supervision in the Chapter 11 reorganization they entered Jan. 15, 1990.
