Jordan Says He Won’t Play in Olympics
From Staff and Wire Reports
Michael Jordan, of the NBA-champion Chicago Bulls, says he will concentrate on golf and will not play on the U.S. Olympic basketball team next year.
“Right now, it’s a closed door for me,” Jordan said.
Jordan made his comments Tuesday before playing a practice round for the Western Amateur golf tournament, which began Wednesday in Michigan. Jordan, who shot a disappointing 85, has said he plans to play golf full time after retiring from basketball.
