Pomona : Probation Office Moved

The Pomona Valley Area Office of the county Probation Department, located in the Pomona Superior Courthouse for 25 years, has moved to a leased building because the court needs more space.
The new office, at 1660 W. Mission Blvd., is two miles west of the courthouse.
Probation officials publicized the move last week, although it took place “several months ago,” spokeswoman Susan Turner said.
The move involved more than 80 employees, including deputy probation officers.
Programs handled by the office include adult investigations, high-risk offender caseloads and juvenile investigations and supervision.
