U.N. Expected to Increase Its Membership by 4

UNITED NATIONS — The president of the Security Council says the panel will probably approve U.N. membership for North Korea, South Korea, the Federated States of Micronesia and the Marshall Islands.
Jose Ayala, ambassador of Ecuador, said he expects applications by all four nations to be accepted without dissent and the countries to be seated in September.
