SILVER LINING: A new study (A1) says women and minorities are being denied routes to the executive suite, but one prominent local expert believes the picture may not be quite so gloomy. . . . The study focused on Fortune 500 companies where “old-boy networks” predominate, said UCI management professor Judy B. Rosener, above. She said women and minorities are doing better at newer, fast-growing firms where younger execs probably have working spouses.
