TUSTIN : 6 Are Appointed to 2 City Commissions
The City Council has filled two Planning Commission seats and four Parks and Recreation Commission seats.
The council reappointed Alden L. Baker to another term on the Planning Commission and named Kathy Weil to fill another position.
Baker was first appointed to the commission three years ago. Weil served on the commission from 1982 to 1989, including two terms as chairman. They will both serve two-year terms on the panel, which advises the council on land-use and development issues.
Appointed to fill the four seats on the city’s Parks and Recreation Commission were incumbents Lois Carr and James Kane, who have both served on the commission since 1988, and newcomers Margarete Thompson and William E. Stracker. All four will serve two-year terms.
