Family Sees Man Hit and Killed by Car
TUSTIN — A man walking with his family from their disabled car was run down and killed by an automobile as his wife and daughter looked on, police said Saturday.
The driver, identified as Jose Fierros, 34, of Fullerton, was arrested on suspicion of gross vehicular manslaughter and driving while intoxicated, and taken to Orange County Jail, police said.
Guadlupe Raygoza, 45, of Santa Ana and his family were walking from their disabled automobile along Edinger Avenue near Jamboree Road when a 1980 Datsun 200 SX driven by Fierros veered off the road, onto the shoulder and hit Raygoza, police said.
