SDSU Class Cuts

Last semester my son, a sophomore at San Diego State University, signed up for seven classes--and got one. He supplemented with undergraduate classes at a community college.

Before Justin came home for the summer, SDSU students were informed that 500 classes were being cut from next fall’s schedule. He signed up for eight classes and again got one--receiving notice of this predicament two days after the closing date for refunds. If the college is playing politics to engender sympathetic dollars from our state budget, I’m crying “foul.”
