Continental to Increase Service to Pacific: Continental Airlines said it will strengthen the carrier’s Pacific service in November with new flights through Guam, its mid-Pacific hub, including two weekly nonstops from Hong Kong. Continental and Continental-Air Micronesia will also increase service between Guam and Indonesia, Japan and Hawaii, the Houston-based airline said. It also added one-stop service between Honolulu and Manila. With the additions, Continental and Continental-Air Micronesia will operate 133 weekly flights to 27 destinations in Japan, Indonesia, New Guinea, Hawaii, South Korea and Micronesia.
