Our Environment

I have lived in the neighborhood of the Pacific Surf Inn for over 10 years. Ten years ago, Leucadia may have been a “bedroom community” but times have changed. We have our share of drug dealers, breaking and entering, graffiti, drive-by shootings, theft, dysfunctional people, the homeless and a tattoo parlor.

The children in this neighborhood are pleasant and well-behaved. Sure, one might see them drop a wrapper now and again or trample on some flowers, but when these children are confronted about the situation they are polite and will listen. Children are not adults and need to be reminded periodically, through their parents or a cordial neighbor.
