IN BRIEF : Assistance League Moves Resale Shop

Assistance League of Southern California Thrift Shop has moved from its North Western Avenue address to a cottage at 1717 Hillhurst Ave. in Hollywood.

Now known as the ALSC Resale Cottage, the shop offers upscale recycled clothing from many famous makers as well as a selection of personal accessories and home decorations. Hours are 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. Call (213) 663-4493 for more information.

ALSC Resale Cottage proceeds help support the 10 community services of Assistance League of Southern California, a nonprofit organization founded in 1919 to help local residents. Last year the organization helped nearly 70,000 men, women and children.
