Golfers Woods, Booth Lead West Teams
Tiger Woods of Cypress and Kellee Booth of Coto de Caza each played a role on winning West teams during the second day of the American Junior Golf Assn.’s Canon Cup championship, being played on the Eisenhower Course at the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colo.
Woods and Anthony Rodriguez of San Antonio defeated Joe Ogilvie of Lancaster, Ohio, and Travis Deibert of Doylestown, Pa., 3 and 1. Booth teamed with Kristyl Sunderman of La Quinta to beat Lisa Penske of Bethlehem, Pa., and Dina Taylor of Debary, Fla., 6 and 4.
The West and East are tied, 15-15, after two days.
