More on the Gulf: ABC said Monday it plans to broadcast a two-hour drama about the Persian Gulf War, with actors playing U.S. servicemen and women singled out for valor during the battle to oust Iraq from Kuwait. “Heroes of the Desert Storm,” scheduled Oct. 6, is the first network drama about the U.S.-led allied war with Iraq and will combine documentary combat footage with scenes staged at U.S. military installations. The show was produced with Pentagon cooperation.
