Takaomi Hayashi and James R. Christie have been appointed senior vice presidents at Sanyo Icon in Irvine. Christie, formerly vice president of the company’s LANser business unit, will continue to be responsible for that unit in addition to all other company marketing and sales functions. Hayashi, formerly a executive vice president based at the company’s Orem, Utah, facility, will take on responsibility for all of Sanyo Icon’s finance and manufacturing activities. Sanyo Icon, a subsidiary of Sanyo Electric Co. of Japan, manufactures computer systems and products.
