Malibu Deputies

This is a letter of appreciation and deep gratitude to the Sheriff’s office and its personnel in Malibu. On July 17, four men, armed with a rifle and knives, broke into my home. My wife was able to make a 911 call and the system worked efficiently. In response, the deputies were everything a person could want for protection of life and property. By way of example, three deputies risked their lives to enter my home, when we all thought that the armed intruders were still inside, to rescue my 4-year-old sleeping daughter.

While we as citizens hope that we never need the deputies to help protect us, I can utilize this example as a situation in which they were responsible, brave and demonstrated a professionalism of which they should well be proud.
