Dwight Gooden will not make his scheduled start Tuesday against the Astros as a precaution because of tightness behind his right shoulder. Gooden, 13-7 for the Mets, felt the tightness in the first inning of Thursday’s victory over the Cardinals while pitching to Pedro Guerrero.
