Comarco Inc. Wins $35-Million Contract
Anaheim-based Comarco Inc., a management services and engineering company, won a contract worth about $35 million to provide testing services for the Department of Defense at the Joint Interoperability Test Center in Ft. Huachuca, Ariz.
Comarco’s share of the award is part of a $100-million contract awarded to a joint venture owned by Comarco and Alexandria, Va.-based Mantech International Inc. Both companies will provide testing services for battlefield communications systems being developed by the Pentagon.
The two-year contract has options for renewal for three additional years. The company employs 100 of its 1,400 employees at the test site, and the new contract could lead to some hiring, said Don Bailey, chief executive of Comarco.
