McGraw-Hill Buys Customs Broker: McGraw-Hill Inc. has acquired Castelazo & Associates, one of the leading customs brokers and freight forwarders serving the Port of Los Angeles/Long Beach, for an undisclosed price. Castelazo will become part of McGraw-Hill’s Tower Group, which owns customs brokers and freight forwarders in several other cities. Castelazo has 80 employees, including 18 licensed brokers, who work out of the firm’s office adjacent to Los Angeles International Airport. Arthur Litman, president of the National Customs Brokers & Forwarders Assn. of America, will continue to serve as president of Castelazo, McGraw-Hill said.
