Anshan Out of Million Sunday

The field for the Arlington Million was trimmed to 10 horses Wednesday when Anshan was withdrawn.
Sunday’s 1 1/4-mile turf race at the Arlington International Racecourse had earlier lost Exbourne and Jolie’s Halo due to physical problems.
“Anshan hasn’t been training well,” explained trainer Charlie Whittingham.
Tight Spot, unbeaten in seven turf races, is the early favorite at 7-5.
Others in the field are Algenib, Chenin Blanc, Dr. Root, Filago, Hundra, Itsallgreektome, Izvestia, Kartajana and Sagace’s Choice.
