Police are looking for a San Diego woman who disappeared about a month ago.

Georgiana Breckenridge, a 50-year-old certified public accountant, last talked by telephone Aug. 2 with a client who lives in Palm Springs, said Bill Robinson, spokesman for the San Diego Police Department.

According to Alan Saari, who last talked to her, Breckenridge had told him during their conversation that her ex-boyfriend was in San Diego and wanted to see her, Robinson said.

She reportedly did not want to see him and was worried he would hurt her, Robinson said.

Saari sent a friend to check on her Aug. 12 and filed a missing persons report after being told she was not at her apartment in the 600 block of Front Street or at her office in the 500 block of C Street. Her 1987 Mazda RX-7 was parked at her apartment, Robinson said.

Police questioned her ex-boyfriend, who lives in Riverside County and he has an alibi, Robinson said. No one has been in contact with Breckenridge since Aug. 2, he said. “Mentally she’s fine--she’s not the type to leave without telling anyone,” Robinson said.

Breckenridge is described as 5-foot-3, 95 pounds, with blond hair, blue eyes and fair skin.
