Five Orange County women were honored by the Women’s Network Alert, a coalition of activists, during the group’s 11th annual Suffrage Day Luncheon at the Balboa Bay Club.

Vivian Hall, co-chair of the group that meets only once a year for the recognition ceremony, said the honorees were selected by coalition founders and members because of their work on women’s issues.

“These women are women who contribute to Orange County and to minorities in particular,” Hall said.
