SHOTS NEEDED: The Kids Care Fair at Corbin Community Center in Santa Ana next Saturday will be more than just snacks, balloons and zoo animals. It’s a chance for people without adequate insurance to get their children immunized and screened for other health-care problems, for free. The American Red Cross and other support groups will have 30 nurses and volunteers on hand. . . . “The numbers of children who are not immunized is alarming,” says Diana Buckhantz of Children Now, one of the sponsors. State officials put it at as high as 40%.
