FREEWAY REPAIRS : Drivers Can Expect These Freeway Lanes to Be Shut
Caltrans advises motorists that it has scheduled the following freeway work in the Southeast and Long Beach areas this week. Repair locations are listed below by the nearest city or cities.
ARTESIA FREEWAY (91)
1. Long Beach: Eastbound No. 1 and 2 lanes from the Long Beach Freeway (710) to Atlantic Avenue; 6:30 a.m. to noon today; asphalt patching.
LONG BEACH FREEWAY (710)
2. Bell: Southbound off-ramp from eastbound Florence Avenue; 1 to 2:30 p.m. Wednesday; electrical repair.
3. Commerce: Northbound off-ramp at Washington Boulevard; 1:30 to 3 p.m. Tuesday; electrical repair.
POMONA FREEWAY (60)
4. East Los Angeles: Connector roads from the eastbound and westbound Pomona Freeway (60) to the southbound Long Beach Freeway (710); 9 a.m. to noon Wednesday; electrical repair.
SAN GABRIEL RIVER FREEWAY (605)
5. Downey: Connector road from the southbound San Gabriel River Freeway (605) to the southbound Santa Ana Freeway (5); 9 to 11 a.m. Tuesday; electrical repair.
6. Santa Fe Springs: Southbound off-ramp at Slauson Avenue; noon to 2:30 p.m. Thursday; electrical repair.
7. Whittier: Northbound off-ramp at Beverly Boulevard; 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Wednesday; electrical repair.
SANTA ANA FREEWAY (5)
8. Commerce: Northbound off-ramp at Garfield Avenue; noon to 2:30 p.m. Wednesday; stenciling.
9. Commerce: Southbound on-ramp at Eastern Avenue; 9 to 11:30 a.m. Thursday; electrical repair.
10. East Los Angeles: Northbound No. 4 lane from Eastern Avenue to Olympic Boulevard, plus the Eastern Avenue off-ramp; 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Thursday; landscaping.
11. Norwalk: Southbound on-ramp at Firestone Boulevard; 9 to 11:30 a.m. Wednesday; stenciling.
12. Santa Fe Springs: Northbound on-ramp at Alondra Boulevard; 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday; electrical repair.
13. Various Cities: Northbound and southbound No. 1 lanes from Artesia Boulevard to Indiana Avenue; 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday; sweeping.
