Hikers Find Body in Mountains
A man who was shot to death with his hands bound behind his back was found Saturday near a road in a rugged part of the Santa Monica Mountains near Malibu, authorities said.
The unidentified victim, believed to be in his 30s, was found by hikers about 20 feet from Las Flores Canyon Road near Rambla Pacifico, officials said. He had been shot several times in the upper torso.
The case is not linked to the slayings of mall shoppers in the San Gabriel Valley, police said.
