TUSTIN : Columbus School to Celebrate at New Site

Columbus Tustin Middle School will hold a grand-opening ceremony and tour of its new temporary site Tuesday.

Columbus Tustin students and staff will be at the newly renovated site, the former Utt School, for the 1991-92 school year while the school’s permanent site on Beneta Way is renovated.

The grand opening will be held in the multipurpose room of the temporary site, 136001 Browning Ave., beginning at 5:30 p.m.

Tustin Unified School District Supt. David Andrews and Principal Bob Boies will speak at the event, and recent eighth-grade graduates of the school’s choral group will sing patriotic songs.
