SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO : City Aide Leaving to Take New Post

Jeff Parker, assistant to City Manager Stephen B. Julian, will leave City Hall at the end of the month to take a new job as city manager of the central California city of Patterson. Parker spent nearly five years working for the city of San Juan Capistrano and said he decided to move to Patterson, a city of about 10,000 near Modesto in Stanislaus County, to fulfill a career goal.

“It’s a career move for me, a chance to realize my goal of becoming a city manager,” Parker said.
