Service to Honor North

A public memorial service for Academy Award-winning film composer Alex North has been scheduled for 2:30 p.m. Saturday at MCA-Universal Studios’ Alfred Hitchcock Theater. Donations in North’s name may be made to the Dance Theatre of Harlem. North was 81 when he died Sunday of pancreatic cancer.
