Out Of Place Wins at Belmont

NEW YORK — Out Of Place wore down the leaders in the final yards to carry 115 pounds and Craig Perret to a neck victory in Belmont Park’s $47,000 allowance feature for horses 3-years-old and older.
Arrowtown also finished well to be runner-up in the six-horse field, a head before Collegian.
The win was the second in four starts this year for Out Of Place, who covered 1 1-16 miles on the fast track in 1:41 3-5 to earn $28,200 and return $6.20, $4.40 and $3.80. Arrowtown paid $5.80 and $4.80, and Collegian paid $6.40.
