PDA Engineering said Wednesday that it paid $1.9 million to acquire 11% of LMS International, a Belgian company that makes engineering test and analysis software. PDA is working with LMS International to develop software that will make PDA’s Patran analysis software compatible with LMS software. PDA Chairman Louis A. Delmonico is expected to join LMS as a director.
