L.A. Rock Sidemen Will Play Benefit at Coach House
SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO — Hang Dynasty, a band of Los Angeles-based sidemen for prominent rock acts, will headline Sunday at the Coach House in a benefit for the Orange Coast Interfaith Shelter’s programs to help local homeless people.
The band consists of Scott Page, saxophonist with Pink Floyd; Jackson Browne bassist Bob Glaub; Steve Miller Band guitarist Kenny Lewis; drummer Greg Bissonette of David Lee Roth’s band; and Smitty Smith, who has played keyboards with Boz Scaggs and David Lindley.
Also on the bill are the Roger Wynfield Rock Project, playing a tribute to Stevie Ray Vaughan, and Fortress of Solitude, a blues band from Orange County. The show starts at 7 p.m.; the club is at 33157 Camino Capistrano. Tickets: $9.95. Information: (714) 496-8930.
