Richard Washington, former Long Beach Poly High safety who is a redshirt football player at the University of Washington, was listed in stable condition at Community Hospital in Long Beach after he was flown there Monday.
Washington was injured in a weekend auto accident on Interstate 5 near the Oregon-California border.
