Olbermann’s Options: KCBS sportscaster Keith Olbermann has been talking with KGTV Channel 10 in San Diego about joining the ABC affiliate, and an ESPN spokesman confirms that the cable network also has had talks with Olbermann on an “on-and-off basis” since 1988. “(Channel 2) has an option on my contract at the end of the year, their option to take me or leave me at that point,” Olbermann says. “In light of that, it’s important to look at anything that’s available in terms of alternatives.”
