Los Angeles city arson detectives on Wednesday were investigating a fire in a Pacoima auto parts warehouse that caused an estimated $800,000 in damage, officials said.

About 70 firefighters battled the fire, which was reported at 11:46 p.m. Tuesday at Cadillac King, 9830 San Fernando Road, said spokesman Greg Acevedo. The blaze was extinguished in about 45 minutes. There were no injuries, Acevedo said.

The cause of the fire was not known Wednesday, Acevedo said.

Damage was estimated at $300,000 to the structure and $500,000 to contents, he said.
