TV AID: James Currie makes his living as an investigator for the county public defender’s office. But his own lifelong investigation to find his real mother has come up short. So he’s turned to the “Unsolved Mysteries” television show for help. . . . The show is shooting a segment about him in Orange County this week to air on NBC later in the fall. . . . “If just one person sees it who knows anything about her, that’s more than I have now,” says Currie, who last saw her when he was 5 and his parents divorced.
