Joe Castellanos, owner of Starlight Productions Mobile DJ is a one-man dance waiting to happen. For $64 per hour, Castellanos will bring his six speakers, turntable, CD players, cassette decks and stacks of wax to a dance party or reception.
According to Terri Castellanos, Joe’s wife and biggest fan, Joe regularly performs for groups of 200 or more, and, thanks to the recession and the high price of live music, business has been very good.
Most of the requests, Terri said, are for top 40 hits.
