Horvatek Scores Twice in Master’s Soccer Win

Momir Horvatek scored a pair of goals as The Master’s College defeated host Pt. Loma Nazarene, 2-1, in an NAIA District 3 soccer match Wednesday.

Horvatek scored at the 63-minute mark and again at the 82-minute mark.

The victory moved Master’s (2-5 overall) to 2-1 in district play.

Cal Lutheran 2, Pomona-Pitzer 1--Jeff Popour scored the game-winner at the 66-minute mark to lead host Cal Lutheran in a Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference match.
