Saugus 28, San Marino 16--Saugus (1-2) used an impressive ball-control offense and a few key defensive plays at San Marino.

Sophomore running back Chris Johnson rushed for 101 yards in 17 carries, including an eight-yard scoring run.

Junior quarterback Bobby Cowan completed eight of 11 passes for 107 yards, including scoring strikes of three yards to Jibri Hodge and 33 yards to Mike Cruz.

Cowan also ran one yard for the other Centurion score. The Centurion defense recorded five sacks.
