SOUTHLAND ROUNDUP : Cal Lutheran Wins, 21-20
Quarterback Adam Hacker scored on a one-yard run with 13 seconds left and Tom Montague kicked the extra point to give Cal Lutheran a 21-20 victory over the University of San Diego in a nonconference game Saturday at Thousand Oaks.
Cal Lutheran (1-3) overcame a 17-point deficit for the victory over the Toreros (2-1).
Cal Lutheran tailback Cassidy O’Sullivan gained 100 yards in 29 carries and had two touchdowns.
Redlands 44 Claremont 3--Curt Landreth gained 130 yards in 18 carries and scored on a 15-yard run to lead the Bulldogs in a Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference game at Claremont. Redlands is 2-1 overall and 2-0 in the SCIAC. Claremont is 0-3 and 0-1.
Occidental 19, Azusa Pacific 14--Derrick Williams passed for three touchdowns as the Tigers (2-0) defeated the Cougars (2-2) in a nonconference game at Azusa Pacific.
